- The Abarth Punto, the cute little Italian hatch that can keep up with some proper machinery because of its amazing driving dynamics and potent 1.4L T-Jet engine. We have covered the Abarth Punto extensively on our channel, heck we own one in the team too that is currently Stage 2, but what if you take this platform and try to squeeze every last ounce of performance? Well, @nightfury_official, @venomperformance_india & @checkengineshyd have done just that and have taken, "Jallaad", an Abarth Punto and have slapped on a massive Garrett Turbo to it. This has to be one of the fastest Abarth Puntos in the country with it running some super impressive times at drag racing events and we got the chance to experience all of the madness in Hyderabad last month!

I used to get goosebumps even with 90 hp on my Punto Evo when the turbo kicked in! This tuned Abarth will be scary to drive unless you're coming from higher end cars like A35 amg .

I have 90hp 2016 and it's the the best hatchback I have ever owned. It's fun in the highways and easy on pocket with maintainace and fuel economy

Happy to have bought an urban cross Abarth 5 years back against all logic and reasoning... One day it'll get some of these mods too
for those looking for a compromise, get a T-Jet linea, it's the same car with a longer wheelbase and detuned.

This car's torque limit for the clutch was 220nm. Which is why they limited the max torque to 212nm. With so much additional power and torque, nothing was upgraded in terms of clutch and input Shaft? Very risky.
Exactly what i thought. And was it me but i really felt like the clutch was slipping at the time he was flat foot shifting the thing. Im still confused after all these mods the owner could not get an upgraded clutch. Or is it on the way?
@@Lurkindork don't think it's available. Never seen any Abarth owner upgrade the clutch till date. Gearbox had always been the weak point of this car.
@@crossplanev8 a quick search led me to a few companies like abarthtuning selling them clutchkits. I feel like no one has pushed this far to get the clutch to its limit in india. Correct me if im wrong. Im pretty sure the owner and tuner is getting it sorted. Atleast i hope so.
Any Dyno charts that show 265bhp? What are the torque figures? What is the 0-100kph draggy timing? Are any other timings measured, like 80-120kph, or 100-200kph?
Lol seriously man literally nothing. Just 265 outta nowhere, it does 16.7s quarter mile. Hence nothing as such shared i guess, tall claims and nothing else. A tuned 1.0 tsi polo will smoke this imo
@@alright5897really doubt a polo 1.0 tsi will beat it according to me this can beat a tuned polo 1.0 pretty easily... However undoubtedly a 1.8 polo gti will smoke this if tuned
So the video uploader/venom performance has chosen to conveniently ignore my questions on dyno charts and 0-100 timing tests. Makes the whole claim less believable.

Best way to recoup money from a modified car is to ‘part out’ and sell the mods separately (time consuming and you usually get back
Remove the parts, and sell them separately. Finally, sell the stock car after flashing it with the stock factory map. Don't ever sell a tuned car to some idiot who doesn't appreciate the value.

A lot of guys do bore out their 2JZ and RB26 to 3.2L and even 3.6L. it's just not feasible to do the same on economy cars.

Get a Polo TDI. Since it is a Manual, no issues w.r.t the DSG. It has immense mod potential too!

If your into having fun around the city get a Polo 1.6 It's a NA if you tune won't have huge gains buy the car sounds amazing and very fun to drive

Bro you gotta check the past FMSCI results. The recent effed up event isn’t justifiable, No test run. Irony is you are able to polo result from the past FMSCI result but not the Abarth.

Better to buy a 320d or 530d for 10L and remap it. Will be way faster (RWD) and a far, far better car to drive anyday!
Completely pointless to invest 5L in mods that you'll never get back. It's dead money. And the resale value will still be 3-5L regardless of the total amount that you spend on mods.
Not everyone buys cars to think about resale values! Doing stuff like this is what makes the tuner community so interesting! If you think about it as a whole, cars are just transport and if you start picking out these things, with the same logic you'll find public transport the best way to go 🙂.
@@TheDriversHub Even if you ignore resale value, I'd rather have a 320d or 530d any day over an Abarth punto. Much much more capable and better engineered car. The resale is only a plus point, not the most important point.
